foxhunter
I arrived at my ground this morning for 6am and what a lovely morning it was too It was nice and still and the dawn chorus was nice to listen to as the countryside awoke. I stalked carefully along some woodland edge seeing nothing until I rounded a dogleg and spied a roe on the edge of the wood. I crawled on my belly a few yards to get within view and as I raised my eye to the scope there was now 2 roe ( buck and doe ) looking straight at me at around 100 yds. I placed the crosshairs just below the does chin and she crumpled on the spot . What a lovely morning to be out and back home for 8am

Welcome on board Ratcherman, good luck with that .243 of yours, with a couple of foxes under your belt you should have no problem with sorting out a deer.
