craigyboy Posted December 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 17, 2008 I would say that boyo didnt get far anyhow just running on adrenaline, I have seen moose shot before on videos and even at close range with well placed shots they sometimes keep up on there feet for maybe 15 minutes just staggering about before they give up, it seems to be just a waiting game with them, at shot to the neck like that would for nearly certain been fatal, thats why you need a good dog to track those sort of animals, they seem to nearly never drop on the spot.
