CliveWard
Hi All, Was rummaging at the local shop the other week and found a couple of sacks of 500 .30 FMJBT heads for £10 per sack! I bought one sack just for a laugh not knowing at the time that £10 for 500 projectiles is sod all. Also to complete the economy drive I bought 100 russian primers for £1.95 They were 145 grains varying from 144-146 and the lengths varied a tad to say the least but I loaded 40 up, set at 2.8" OAL and they printed 1 - 1 1/2" at 100M. Not bad at all for the princely sum of 19p per finished round. I dare say with a bit of batching and sorting they'd do even better. Sods law when I went back to have the other sack it had gone Cheers Clive
Redfox
Watch it with the Rusky primers, a lot from that neck of the woods are still corrosive!!! Redfox
CliveWard
Hi Redfox, Thanks for that. It does say 'non corrosive' on the box if that can be trusted. They seem to work fine and can't grumble at the price. Cheers Clive
