Finish is cerakote graphite black, courtesy of Tac-Coatings. Some small marks on the body and windage dial cover, but cosmetically it's very good overall. There's a small scratch visible in the sight picture below 8X, invisible above it. It took me a long time to notice it as I never use the sight below 10X. I did manage to photo it both externally and in the sight - the second photo was taken at 8X and shows it no longer visible. Can email higher res pictures of the scope and/or you're welcome to examine it in person. It's served me well, but my eyesight isn't really good enough to handle 12X at longer distances.
