varminter Posted September 27, 2008 Report Share Posted September 27, 2008 Had a early start today at work and when i got home i hardly had any rounds for the PPC!!! , so a busy time on the reloading bench was the order of the day!!! Time i finished was around 17 .30 , so i needed to go out for some fresh air!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a beautiful evening and in the first fields there was 3 bunnies out , i went for the first shot at the longer bunnie which ranged 367yds , i dialed in corrections and was rewarded with a hit!!!! Next up was a 345yd bunnie , all i could see was his head in the long grass went for a head shot and was rewarded with a explosion of fur and bits!!!! I finished on a 266yder so that made 3 consecutive hits one after the other , really love them 58 V - maxs in my 6PPC!!! So a very nice evening and just the thing after a busy day!!! Dabbling in the black arts again ??? it is good fun,,,,,, Ya cannot beat long range bunny bashing on a nice sunny night,,,, Getting dark now just after 7.30pm,, So bunny bashing and lamping all in one evening can,t be bad I was talking to mike norris last weekend,, i think that he has talked me over to a 6mm br??? paper work has gone in,,,, barrel from A.I has been priced 6 br A.I aw sounds like a good combo to me????
