Need a new mobile

Hi, I need some advice, I need a new work mobile phone. I have always had Nokias in the past but when the last one died I got the new JCB phone, to cut a long story short, it was faulty so went back, new one arrived with most of the same problems so has now gone back too! I really liked the spec on the JCB phone especially the super loud ring tone but i'm afraid any equipment only gets one second chance from me, I can't stand being let down. Any ideas what else is out there of a similar nature? I'm looking for simplicy, reliability, robustnes and long battery life and i'm not bothered about games, cameras, internet etc. I don't have an unlimited budget but as long as its readily available in the UK on a vodaphone contract then I should be able to swing it on the company account.
