CliveWard
Hi All, After sizing and trimming some new brass for the .308 last night I put them in the tumbler and left it running for a while. Came back after a few hours and it had packed up. Today I took the bottom off and found that one of the long bolts holding the motor on had come loose and dropped into the fan jamming it. Put the bolt back in, tightened the rest up too and it's good as new. Saved another trip to the gunshop. Cheers Clive
6mmBR
Lucky I suppose the vibrations they set up are enough to loosen any screw with time. Cheers Dave
eldon
A spot of loctite threadlock should stop it happening again. If nowt else use a spot of nail varnish ( doesn't have to be your own? ), assemble whilst wet and it will gum the threads. Sorted.
