Details on BarnesX used on this trip.A Wolf was also shot but went MIA in the thick cover. "168 grn in the 06'...both shots exited. first shot at 85 yrds, second at about 125. The off-shoulder was destroyed on the second shot and the elk traveled about 300 yrds from where its was first hit. 150 grn 7MMREMMAG on my elk. first shot at 40yrds through the lungs and out. Second shot at 70 yrds, through the lungs in the opposite direction and stuck under the skin on the far side. The elk traveled a totat of about 75 yrds."
