MrCetrizine
Judging by the published ballistic properties http://www.lapua.com/en/ammunition/calibers/65x47-lapua and the Vihtavuori load data http://www.vihtavuori.com/en/reloading-data/rifle-reloading/6-5-x-47-lapua.html I'm going to say 39 grains of N540. The numbers seem to match. Just a guess though.

Laurie
Has anyone tired V150 in 6.5x47 and if so what are the results like ? Most 6.5X47s prefer a slightly faster burner - Re15, N140, and most of all H. VarGet (which probably means Reload Swiss RS52 as well as it's usually a good substitute for this Australian / US number). A few though don't perform with these powders and need a slower burner, such as IMR and H4350 and N150. If your rifle falls into the second category, you'll get excellent results from this powder, but if it's one of the majority which lie in the first group you won't get as good results as from VarGet. FWIW, when I had a 6.5X47 F-Class rifle, VarGet, Re15 and suchlike would barely shoot under 0.75-MOA, but N150 regularly produced 0.2 to 0.3-MOA 5-shot groups from the 123gn Scenar and at just short of 3,000 fps from a 30-inch barrel performed well out to 1,000 yards

LONG RANGE CAPT
After further testing today - we now think that the BR450's are to hot, in the home loads. Having used the factory 123 Lapua ammo as base line who's accuracy is great through both mine and Dan534's guns - what primers do Lapua use in their factory ammo ?
