247sniper
Along with my .204 Ruger pracrise I also blew the cob website out of my Custom 223AI. I developed another load for it some 260ftps slower than my original load of 2960 ftps. It is soooooooooo accurate, it always was but this load gave me an ESTATE of 11 ftps and SD of 4.4 ftps. A rabbit wont know the difference between 260ftp and there is more error in my wind calls then I would loose with a little bit more velocity etc. Again confirmed zero at the normal 200 yards, custom Lapua match brass,Neck turned, annealed and fully prepped etc, again this rifle since I don't most the work myself on it has never let me down, awsome is a understatement! After a zero conformation took it stright out to the gong I had set out which ranged at 576 yards, the wind was up but was pretty steady and consistent so managed to read it and dial it out well. Here is the results of the only 3 shots I'd taken, very very happy. Elevation oscroft never really a problem, it is always the wind, but the more I do the more better I seem to get, as practice practice and more practice. Those rabbits had better watch out, they are not going to be safe. Steve
