Aussie Foxer
Finally got out to shoot my first centrefire, tried various ammo and the Hornady out shot everything else. 5 shots at 100 yards with factory ammo. Shot from a bench using Bulls Bags and a rear bag. To say I'm pleased would be putting it mildly An Australian 5 cent coin is the same as a 5p. . sandyb
Nice group! The Tikka's do shoot well. The only thing I would say is not about the group, but the quality of the target. Use a backing board, that way you'll see the proper grouping and holes left by the impact rather than the tears that you have there, then you'll see the true grouping. You can see each of the five bullets. http://i408.photobucket.com/albums/pp164/Sandy_750/223%20Target%20%20Zero/Hornady2275.jpg
Aussie Foxer
Quite true, I had the paper on cement sheet, I was chuffed to bits when I saw the result from the back
sandyb
I'm hoping to achieve the same or better groupings with my dedicated TRG target rifle. Interestingly, I achieved my groups with a Hawke Sidewider 8-32x56 scope. They now wear Sightron SV's in 10-50x60's and achieved slightly better groups supported from the rear.
