dannywayoflife Posted December 13, 2015 Report Share Posted December 13, 2015 Just seen this on the BBC app David Cameron: Ban high-powered semi-automatic weapons in EU http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-35086934 As usual the BBC seems to sensationalise the "ban" aspect but the article states that these weapons were smuggled so there fore are already illegal and therefore banned! LukeSoutherner Posted December 13, 2015 Report Share Posted December 13, 2015 I p""ses me off that, as per usual, the BBC is supporting a firearm ban by not explaining the case properly. They do not state clearly that the weapons used in the Paris attacked were fully-automatic. So people will be supportive of such ban without realising what little effect a semi-auto ban with have on terrorism. I've not really read up on the subject but I'm sure all the weapons used were illegally brained anyway! Who was it said when you outlaw guns only the outlaws will have them?!!
