Extractor mark

Got a Quickload recipe for Horn Amax 155 in .308 for use in a new Tikka T3 lite with 20" barrel

The Quickload charge shows 48.5 grs of RS52.

Cases were full length sized and bullets seated at 2.184, 117th off lands, couldn't be any longer due to magazine.

I started @ 46.5 grns and increased by .50 grns up to 48.20 grns.

The 47.00 grain charge grouped at 0.40", well pleased and no obvious pressure signs but I carried on as I was load testing.

At 47.5, 48.0 & 48.2 I had slightly stiff bolt lift and extractor marks on the case head, any ideas why please.

PS. I intend to stay at the 47.00 charge.

Rifles/chambers and other factors vary a bit -eg your 'jump' is neccessarily fairly long... and interact-and so does the info into Quickload....your stiff bolt lift is definitive evidence of pressure...but you have a .4 load....dev elopment done....happy days!
