dogfox Posted June 16, 2008 Report Share Posted June 16, 2008 Hi I have had a good couple of days out with the rifle and the shotgun. I went out for a couple of hours last night and shot some bunnies and crows with the 220 swift. I am trying out some 52 Amax and vit n140 powder. I got to say that they shoot well in the swift and they are doing 3964 fps second. They are shooting flat.I set the sights at 100 yards and a bunny at 250 yards you just aim straight at it and if I do my bit splat. Which is what happened. I then went out for a few hour this afternoon and I shot 60 pigeons for 100 cartridges. It was a lovely day out and help me unwind. Sorry no pics as I forgot the camera. 6mmBR Posted June 17, 2008 Report Share Posted June 17, 2008 Good day out Dogfox Your Swift load is similar to my .22-250 AI load a 52 Berger flying at 4030fps as you say flat as a witches tit out to 250, just point and shoot and watch the critters explode. ps hows Shaun doing? if you see him give him my best.
