22.250 remmy 700 barrel.

Ive got a remmy 700 that is in need of a new barrel. It would have to be 22.250 and prefer a varmint tube. Obviously prefer something fairly new.

 

I want to send away the 6mm AI to have it re-barreled and re-chambered into a 6.5 but want the 22.250 shooting straight before i do all this. Not looking for single holes just a rifle that will shoot sub 1" groups. Dont really want to go custom barrel as its only to last about a year or untill the 6.5 goes away to be worked on.

 

What have you guys got out there ?. Any factory varmint barrels out there surplus to requirements ???.

My mate an RFD has my old Remy .22-250 Varmint barrel. I rebarrelled my rifle to 6.5x47 Lapua.

This barrel was a tack driver with 40 Vmax and 35.6gn N135.
