Jay Foxing
Hi all, Darrel, Andy and myself had a fantastic morning thinning out the winged rats on a local farm with the shotguns. We shot a lot more than the pic's show but could not pick them all up due to roofs, long grass and nettle patches. The old air rifle got a dusting off to, proof that it has a place in the pest controller's armory. Great for knocking the feral pigeons out of buildings and off the roofs. Some testing shots, but a great morning will some awesome shot taken by all. Many thanks, Jay.
6mmBR
Good effort, the airgun is king in those situations. I had a similar task in a back garden thinning out bunnies, they are a great tool for descreat jobs in and around buildings. Cheers Dave
auquhollie
I agree, That must have been fun?. The air rifle is a great tool for discreet fun. My mate (bruxie) was out with me friday night testing some new loads when his son walks up with his air rifle and a wee bunny (chuffed to bits). He'd stalked his way in and pinged off a tiny bunny all by himself. Some going as he is only ten (even if he is a cheeky wee shiser). He is always out shooting ferrals on the farm and is a crack shot. Ads
