FGYT Posted June 16, 2015 Report Share Posted June 16, 2015 Having a go at knocking up a Bolt knob as ive had my bolt turned off for - threads (Remmy 700) Being a knife maker ive got a lot of handle material so thought i could knock one up out of G10 (coloured fiberglass sheet) its in 3/8" thickness that i have so 2 layers would be just shy of 20mm obviously can cut it wide in the other dimension approx 30mm looks ok Ive drilled it so i can glue and pin the layers then I can drill in and glue up a Threaded insert in - (have Heli coil ) guess an oval Cross section wouldn't be to bad or will it be better with 3 layers heres the stuff im using on one of my Khukhuris Black Tan and Green layers this is stippled texture but can be smooth Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
