JDR
Lovers of classic rifles may enjoy a look at the latest entry on our Facebook page. I've been restoring a 116 year-old Krag Jørgensen carbine All I need now is to find some brass and I can start developing loads!
MrCetrizine
Which calibre is it? I might know someone with some .30-40 Krag brass.
JDR
It's a US Springfield one, so yes 30-40 Krag. If you do know of anyone that would be a huge help. Thank you. I'm still waiting for Winchester to make the stuff and then supply our wholesalers.
MrCetrizine
I gave him a call and unfortunately he sold all the brass with the rifle. He did say that he just used to make it by running once fired .303 through his Krag die. Apparently the neck comes out a touch short but I've been with him while firing the rifle and there were never any issues.
