Well with work commitments i haven't had chance to get out to do any shooting at all.

Dan rang me and asked if i fancied a few hours out, so we went out with the rimmy's for some vermin shooting, Rabbits being the main quarry.

The grass is a bit on the long side, but we knew for a few good spots that we should be able to make some shots, dan had the .22 & i had the .17hmr.

We got to our spot and i spotted a rabbit at 113 yards, i settled down on my varmint sticks and squeezed off my shot, "THWACK" the first rabbit in the bag, we collected it and carried on round to a better spot for bunnies, but as we were getting closer i spotted charlie looking at us, but it made off before i could shoulder the rifle.

Slowly walking round i spotted a magpie around 60 yards away, it didn't spot me and was in the bag in a moment. Heading back home i managed another rabbit at around 50 yards, then a few yards further Dan managed to bag a black rabbit.

So i nice few hours out and both of us managed to bag something.
