Jiminic
Freeing up a ticket space.. I don't know the age or round count I'm afraid due to buying it s/h...I have checked the Internet to see if there is a link to do a serial number age check.. But can't find one.. I picked it up s/h - but I am picky with the barrel and all appears good to me - bright, clean, no pitting and the rifling looks sharp - I wouldn't have bought it if I thought it was ropey.. It's 22" barrel from the end of the muzzle to what I can see to be the start of the breech.. screw cut 1/2 unf, with thread protector and proofed It's got a stainless picatinny rail to match the action and has a 3/4 factory magazine I was planning to dress it in a krg stock and use it for target shooting at 300,500,600 f/tr and for mcqueens as well as my local 100 yard range.. But the ar15 platform has tempted me too much.. And due to having a few other bolt actions - fancied the different format.. When I did the loads - 24, 24.5 grn of n140 looked pretty good, but the tightest was 25grn pushing a 69smk sitting 5 rounds under a half inch sticker.. So discounting the bullet width - that's just around 1/4 moa It shoots fantastically, feeds faultlessly and has a super smooth bolt like all Tikkas.
