Murph,It's good to hear you are comfortable with your Blaser. Many others might agree, but it doesn't matter. A .18 5shot is very good, but if you've taken on any of the 'stats' points, you will appreciate it's the rifle's aggregate that really outlines it's precision-so 5x5 groups-and really,it's the biggest that matters more than the smallest-what is needed is consistency-the SD of shots in fact.

"Wind blows shots in as well as out' is often mentioned, correctly.Ditto other factors. One very small group actually tells you that you/rifle are just not that good on all the others,if they are substantially larger.

Yours may well not be-shoot 5x5 and get a more representative picture.

"One swallow does not make a summer...or a drunk"-it's the same point...repetition is needed.Plenty factory rifles will throw three shots into .25,but only once in twenty triplets,.....the rest might be an inch, and 5 shots almost never that small.

For a field sporting rifle 3 shot consistency is acceptable, or even consistent -very-one shot placement.
