gbal Posted October 11, 2014 Report Share Posted October 11, 2014 The 22BR is one of the BR family (cf 6BR),and the basic BR case is a shortened 308. So the 22BR is easiest with the .473 308 bolt face donor.Such a 308 bolt face is the starting point-there are plenty such eg 243 win,and others,but you need to consider mag length etc if you want a repeater...an extra,but doable,complication. gbal Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
