Yetidude69
Hi Guys, iv recently purchased a Speedmaster by SGC in .223 with 1in 8 16"barrel to use as a dedicated NV gun, iv been using factory ammo as i had a few rounds of 68grn federals in the cabinet which iv now used up. Now having never owned a straight pull before, i was wondering if theres any quirks to reloading for it? Or do i go about it the same way as i do for my standard bolt guns? Any tips/advise would be much appreciated! regards James
gbal
I'd avoid any brass not fired in that chamber and full length resize each time. You can lose quite a bit of extraction muscle with the straight pulls,so minimise any risk of extraction issues.Otherwise,as for bolt (and magazine fit,of course).
