This is a .270win stalking rifle that Baldie rebarrelled for me just after Christmas. It's a Bergarra fluted stainless 1 in 10 twist barrel which is about the same profile as a standard Remmy 700 sporter barrel. It's a standard Remmy 700 LA in a modified Bell and Carlson medallist mountain rifle stock, remmy trigger "tuned" a bit. Hardy gen3 mod and Swarovski Z5 3.5-18X44 BT, whole outfit weights a shade over 9lb loaded with bolt in.

Dave ceracoated the barrel/action in FDE, I widened the barrel channel and bedded the standard stock, put a raised comb on it and gave it the funky paint job.

100m target, 5 shots, high first shot due to a cleaned barrel, wind gusting 8-20mph L-R

Thanks for a great build Dave, does exactly what I asked you for, ie first round DRT kills on deer out to 300m
