gbal
can mods be drilled out by a competent smith Just to widen this a little-it's quite easy to be faced with at least 30 different calibre/thread possible combinations. (224,250,30 mods and imperial and metric threadings are just the start.) Some are modifiable-eg threads can presumably be reduced (?) and the loss in efficiency from say a 25 mod on a 224 is not too serious... Drilling out the actual mod hole seems a bit close to the wind to me.... ...and all these may not be cost effective, but the thread change might be if you had two same calibre rifles, and wanted to use one mod interchangeably....or an an 'adaptor',if such exist, from one thread to another. What is possible, and what is a no-go ? Gbal

Jiminic
Tempting.. Does this mod have any kind of bush on the back? And also what kind of RFD cost as I live in sunny Devon.. Unless you fancy a trip to Blair Atholl next week?
