Alycidon
Here's some pics through the lense in generally good conditions; http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthread...6130#Post136130 I use a little Ziess and a big Swaro PVS in the main. I have compared the Swaro and a 12x42 NXS and found it very similar after dark. Optically the Ziess beats them both but no target turrets on my model. I have just bought an NXS for a project that I hope to have shooting later this year. NF showed FFP at the recent shot show but it may be next year before it arrives here according to Ruag. IMHO FFP is the way to go on a vermin scope. Or of course a 10x fixed power with a 1 moa ladder reticule. PM2 has the fixed power but ret choice is poor. I would have thought than unless you are going out miles (400 yards plus) then 20x or so would be more than enough mag, most people I know with hi mag scopes use them mainly at far below max mag especially at night. Geoff Im would be happy if the nxs was as "good" as my Ziess conquest to be honest i just love the turrets on the nxs they are so easy & chunky! I proberly dont need the insanely high mag but id like to go out to at least 500yds on bunnys ect in the daylight eves But wouldnt want to lose to much low light performance Andy
