5R-Twist
Yea had one a few years back it was great until the heating went wrong in my gun room and it went bellow 0c never worked right again. so guess it was the cold that's done it. Got the new lyman now and it seems to work fine but will be more carful in future. As for repair the bloke I get to do my stuff said that most of the components were not serviceable and it would be cheaper to buy a new one. Ps the weird thing is my lab scales didn't suffer ? Murph
Had set of Lyman scale last year which did the same thing. It turned out to be my mobile phone giving off a magnetic field which messed about with the internals something shocking. A good cure for this is to buy an inline filter for the power lead.you can buy them out of rs,maplins or ebay. They are only a few pence each and should help a lot.
