Exeter lad
How much are these stocks in a long action Remington 700? Are they any good and would people recommend them over a Mcmillan A5 or A3-5?? Cheers Aaron
Ronin
Ive missed this thread, so apologies I bought an E tAc from Eddie a couple of months ago, which I had custom made - some alterations to my spec. The stock it replaced was a Manners MCS GAT, which I really liked, but wanted to save some weight - hence the replacement. The rifle performs as well if not better than it ever did, however, I had to alter the load for some reason - I am using Barnes 130 TSX which can be a little finicky, and with the new stock, started a new box, which I couldn't get to shoot to my usual expected accuracy, This isn't anything to do with the stock though. The PSE stocks are very well constructed and extremely strong, lightweight and offer a perfect blend of lightweight, functionality and strength. Id buy one over an A5 any day.. Norfresh
I recently changed from a Pse stock (albeit the hunter stock and not the E-tac) to a Mcmillan A3-5. I have to say that the Pse stock was miles ahead of the Mcmillan in every aspect! I have shot E-tacs and love them and I only went with the Mcmillan A3-5 over the Etac as one came up second hand for good money.
