Thinking of a muzzel break will it reduce the recoil down to the same as a moderator?? Which brake do everyone recommend?? All shale I just stick to a moderator? brown dog Posted December 29, 2013 Report Share Posted December 29, 2013 If I'm in a situation where noise doesn't matter; I'll always choose a muzzle brake rather than a moderator. Better recoil reduction; better rifle balance, no mirage issues. I also learnt, shooting in competition next to some miserable FSB Group Alpha types with crazy loud muzzle brakes that were passing a warm blast wave through my hair at every shot- that if other people are using them around you, it's payback Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
