Zeiss Hensoldt 4-16x56 Long Range/Tactical Rifle Scope with illuminated Mil-dot Reticle

Hi,

 

Since I will be at the F-Class European Championships in Bisley at the end of this month, I could bring this rifle scope along for anyone interested to inspect it and/or empty their wallets in the process .

 

The Hensoldt range of rifle scopes are specialist, heavy duty models scopes manufactured specifically for police and military applications by a division of Zeiss Optics, Germany. Needless to say, the very best technology available was invested in these scopes to assure peak performance and brilliant optics under the most enduring conditions.

 

The scope for sale is depicted in the pics and was newly purchased almost 5 years ago. The condition is near new without any scratches or nicks on the body or lenses. Some light marks may be discovered beneath the scope rings but it was never glued on to the mount. This scope was only used it on a .223 semi-auto rifle for approx. 200 rounds before moving on to another discipline with different rules, hence the sale.

 

Overall specs are included in one of the pics below, albeit in German. Please let me know should you require some translation assistance. Click adjustment is 1cm per click at 100m for both windage and elevation. The mil-dot reticle's crosshairs have subtension dimensions of 5mm at 100m

 

It comes with the original packing material, a scope coat cover, as well as instructions for military applications. Typically, the warranty period for any Zeiss rifle scope is 30 years from the first purchase, so there is still ample time to get it repaired if ever required.

The depicted block scope mount is also for sale and is a combination of steel and aluminium with quick detachable levers for picatinny rails. These high quality NATO-spec scope mounts are from the German specialist military optics suppliers IEA and are shock-tested during acceptance testing. This version has no incline with a total height of approx. 40mm (including 5mm high spacers can be removed) from the top of the rail to the scope’s centre. Asking £150 and will not be sold separately w/o the scope, or the scope goes out the door first.

 

Total weight of scope and mount is approx. 1280 grammes
