pork chop
going to resize some 6mm br soon and got a question, last time i resized some brass it did not size the full length of the neck ,i think it was maybe 20 thou or so short. at the time i was told that when i neck turned it would get rid of the small shoulder with no problem which it did and after five reloads the brass is still fine.now the die will not screw down anymore so do/can i remove some material from the top of the shell holder or just carry on doing what i did before
Danpd
Are you using a bushing die to neck down? If so you won't size the whole neck , due to the chamfer on the bushing. I usually recommend that people neck down with a basic FL die so you get a nice crisp neck/shoulder junction.
