davo
Got my new rifle, 20" heavy barrelled Tikka T3 Tactical 1-8 twist, made up my first ever home loads using 55gr Win FMJ, Varget and Viht 135 (since been advised that for 55gr I should have been pointed to Viht 133 by the gun shop, but the Varget and Viht 135 should be OK for heavier bullets) anyway tried out the two powders I've mentioned and..... Factory Winchester ammo is much better accuracy wise, I know it will take a bit of fiddling to work up the load, started at min load for safety reasons and hopefully I will see an improvement in grouping, so in the mean time anybody got a T3 Tactical that they home load for and what's you're recipe?? 6mmBR
I used to have a 1in8 T3 Varmint it shot superbly with Sierra 52 BTHPM at SAAMI length 2.250" over a charge of 25gns Vit N135 Cheers Dave
