nemasis243 Posted February 3, 2008 Report Share Posted February 3, 2008 Been playing with some 6mm varmint granades and I must say I cant do much with them , I have tried various combinations of powders and wieghts, the best being H380 x 46.8grns. which gave me a group of 1 1/2" at 100yrds. I did find that when I cleaned my barrel after each 15 shots I found that I had a lot of copper in the bore I then tried them on a rabbit at 80 yrds , expecting to see exploding results, all I had was a big messy exit hole not very impressed at all Has anyone tried them ,I have seen the Barnes video and this is what prompted me to get some but things aint working here. Im thinking 243 with tht type of powder charge? iv got a 6mmBR coming in the next coupe of weeks an was really looking forward to trying some!
