dogfox Posted February 1, 2008 Report Share Posted February 1, 2008 I went out tuesday afternoon to try for a fallow with the 300 encore rifle.As you can see I had some success. This was my second deer with the rifle. By brcooper, shot with DMC-TZ3 at 2008-02-01 The 1st deer I shot with the rifle was a roe doe and I just had another 3 fallow this afternoon with the encore.I was just making my way back to the keepers house after a days pheasant shooting when I saw 8 fallow out in the field.I shot back to the keepers house to pick up my rifle and manage to get back and get in to the deer.I had one pricket,one doe and last years fawn. dogfox Posted February 3, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2008 I am using factory loads ( 180 grain) at the moment as I have not had much time to play with loading.I have tried some H4350 and have had some good groups with 180 Gr hornady.I will send some pics when I sort the load out.
