mounts not high enough

hi i have a 222 wiehrauch (krico) with 11mm dovetails i have leupold high mounts to fit on the dovetails but they are not high enough for either a 50mm ao scope or 56mm no parallax ring.

is there a way of raising them as i can only find airgun type mounts to fit in extra high etc, also the rifle is factory tapped for bases but the only ones i could find were apel and they cost over £200.

could other bases be converted ? does any one have any suggestions on either mounts or bases.

You can just use the air rifle mounts more than up to the job for the .222.

Hilver use to do mounts for them but not sure if thay are get able now.Look on Warnes website they have a list if bases and rings,maybe even Leupold.
