sonic
I found this in a google search for .243 87 vmax using H4350 My 7th edition hornady manual lists this info for the 87 grain vmax. B.C.: 0.400 C.O.L.: 2.640" H4350 39.8gr - 43.4 max. can anyone confirm this is correct it seems to fit with other loads I looked at for this on other forum etc the search came up with none of my manuals show this bullet weight powder combo. Lee book shows 44.5 max H4350 for a ninety grain but nothing for lighter bullets. Thanks Dave

sonic
Thanks for that. Brass prep tonight for me then. I'll see if the old bsa likes the 87's. Using the last of my N140 and 75's. I got a tub of H4350 with my loading kit so want to try that. My local rfd stocks hodgden and ram powders. Has anyone used the 87 vmax for roe are they good bad. Or do I get some other 85/87 soft points and load for same poi.

sonic
Will give them a go just want one do all load if poss. trying to get as much life as I can out of my old BSA before its shot out. I really like it but rebarreling unless my gunsmith mate can find a new old stock bsa barrel to fit. Will be economically unviable. for me anyway
