hughes.s
The continuing saga, Now that I have added a butt extension which allows me to change the length of the stock from day eye relief/lop to the extra (that I want) when the ns camera is fitted (£35.00 total vs £22.00 per 10mm plastic styer spacer). Went out last night to try the ns200 on the .223. In total darkness @100yds the results as shown, the first group of 5 was shot @ 16 mag with the ir full on and head up,and the ns on top of the scope. The second group of 5 was shot again @16 mag ir full on with the ns at 90 degs to the left of the scope.((so I can put cheek to butt)(help yourselves)), but with extra illumination? from a lightforce170, with a £14.00 ir filter. The dot?is 3" dia (which is well within my own limits of shot placement for foxes) I "am not to unhappy with the results.(more practice needed) but it sure is disconcerting to shoot in total darkness, after years of lamping. Now a question, why do"es the focus/parallax change when I use the ir illumination? hughes.s
