gbal
they don't like to go to fast, could not get a load in my 243ak they just blow up, it was a 1-8 and may have been to fast ? Hmmmm they will eventually...Black Hills do a commercial loading for 22/250 thus: 36BVG BC .149 @ 4250 fps by 500y though it's only 1296 fps, 43/53 drop/drift in 10mph wind....400 is 1696 18/30 . ie runs out of steam, inferior to 40 max BC.2 @ 4150 (400y 2148 fps 14/20 ). BC of course is the issue, and it may be that it just cant be driven fast enough to compensate,anyhow..... 40g seem a better bet all round, beyond 300y;crow impact though is effective I would imagine up to that. gbal
Guest Stacka
If not have a try of the Nosler Varmageddon, they have a deep cavity like Grenades but it's topped with a tip. On fox it's truely devastating
