Tikka
Does anyone use the Hornady (used to be Stoney Point) OAL gauge? If so, have you ever managed to 'make' a modified case for this gauge? I want to modify a 6.5x47 case to be used with this gauge, as Hornady don't do them. The problem is the thread is a real strange one, as far as I can tell it's a 5/16" x 36TPI or 8 x 0.7 mm. Both are oddball threads and no-one has a standard tap anywhere near these threads. Does anyone have any ideas?
