Hi,

 

Based on the percentage of certificate holders in various force areas who have complaints, Hants has the second worst record in the UK (worst is Notts.). In a recent meeting with members of the shooting community, BASC etc. Hants Police admitted failings but which they are now addressing.

 

They have admitted that some of their procedures were too involved and they have been under resourced. They have streamlined their procedures and are working hard to reduce their backlog of renewals and grants. They hope to have cleared their entire backlog by the New Year,
