foxing2night
Just been out today for a bit of pigeon shooting, As normal the weather was bad, grey and wet!!!! The hide was set up with the wind acrose us, Blowing from left to right!!! Our backs were to the hedge line, with two big tree,s 25 yards infront!!, The pigeons were coming from the left with the wind, Turning by the tree,s and droping right in,,, Sometimes they landed in the tree,s,,,,, Very enjoyable!!! Then we had a visitor, Who thought that the decoys were food for the day?????, And boy did he get a surprise??? Both of us stood up and let rip,,,, Jay hit him first, Then he turned to go away, I hit him second,, Jay hit him third, Then the fourth shot, And lights out Did not moan about the weather after that,,,, Finnished on 42 for myself and jay, And another friend had 18,,,, So everyone was happy All the best f2n
charly hunter
Well done lads, I guess that why the fox survives so well, he will take any opportunity to fill his belly. I was out decoying several years ago on rape, I had put the hide up and my Lab was in the hide as I was putting the decoys on the field, I glanced back to the hide as something caught my eye and it was a big dog fox stood not 2 feet from my dog and was just about to pick up one of the dead birds I had with me for decoys, I shouted at his and he stood there looking at me for a second or two and then just walked off like he owned the place My Lab took no notice of him at all. You got to love em'
