accuracy problems

I made up 20 rounds of my pet recipe and bingo, 3 bullets in two & a half holes touching, did the test twice to confirm.

 

Then tried some of the same Win factory ammo that gave me the problems and guess what, groups all to shite, it used to group ok, so I guess it must be a bad batch.

Thought so...3" is so poor,ammo failure is likely-it does happen-I put near 100 factory through a 17Rem when they first came into UK,tumbling etc,and poor accuracy-importers suggested I rebarrel the rifle-nope,bad batch of ammo.First time it happens though is depressing and worrying.Glad it's sorted,with relative ease.You coud pull some of the ammo and check eg powder weight variation-I'd pull the whole lot and reload with your pet load.or keep for fouling shots,or to let someone you don't like try the rifle.....
