I would prefer a CM barrel so that it can be blued, action it is a Vixen A1 .It needs to be aporter profile in keeping with the rest of the rifle. silpig Posted April 8, 2012 Report Share Posted April 8, 2012 Just bought a Tikka M595 in .222 and am planning to change it to some sort of 20 cal. Apparantly it's only fired around 200 rounds, but as I haven't actually taken delivery as yet, I couldn't comment on the actual condition of the barrel. It's sporter weight.
