No 60

Me and my mate had a quick look out last night , only out 1hour. I lamped a fox from the road so my mate pulled the motor over , I loaded up and got out and headed towards a gate where i would shoot from. On flicking the lamp on , the fox was only about 40 yards away and started running off , so a quick shout to halt him and that was number 60 for this year.

 

How are the rest of you doing ???

Havent been out due to crappy weather this week but had numbers 90 91 & 92 last thurs!

 

Should have got at least one more more but it wasnt to be

I don't keep a record of numbers shot (my lamping buddy keeps track in his shooting diary) but i am sure i have shot around 40 since harvest and i've shot in excess of 100 since the beginning of the year. I don't go lamping any where near as much as i used to but but i still average over a 100 every year

Did manage to get to 159 last year!!!!

 

Last night we got the 84th!!! So all in all not a bad year

 

Been out in alsorts of weather and lamped a lot of land,,, Must of lamped 1000 acres last night just to get one????

 

I think that we are doing more on the rats this winter?? as they have become a big problem

Nice 1 foxy as you know my foxing has went down hill this past 3/4yrs but i could count on 1 hand this year & im gutted at the sport i get now on the foxes.

Looks like some good bags of foxs has been had,havnt done much at all for the last few weeks myself,think i am in the 40's
