liongeorge
Hi I am at long last getting my sako 75 into varminting mode and have a Roedale picatinny rail and a Schmidt PMII but what to put in between . Idially the rings should be QD as I would like to swap possiblly to NV or my bog standard beat about stalking scope. Warne do a very reasonable set but do they return to zero or should I spend even more money(I would rather not!) and go for Apel , Badger Ordnance etc ? Do any of you have experience with the Warne QD rings? Any help much appreciated George
Gunsgobang88
Hi George, All experience so far has proven that the Warne Q/D mounts are pretty good at returning to zero, 1/2 moa or better. They are the most economically priced of the 'consumer' level mounts. To improve significantly you would have to go to a Stanag quality rail and a dedicated Milmount, Alan
liongeorge
Thanks Alan , I've ordered the Warne mounts. I'm sure I'll be on here a bit more as my project comes together. cheers George
