I have long been tempted to access my data under the above act and figure it may be well worth the obligatory tenner to see what they hold on me. Does anyone know if there are any grounds where by the police could refuse to supply the information? When I did one of these requests to my current employer I received a stack of paperwork that only just fitted inside a photocopier paper box! I was probably the first person in their history to request it as they had some interesting delaying tactics to get inside the 14 day window and when I mentioned copies of CCTV footage they got very evasive indeed...
