pcon
A little while ago I managed to pick up a secondhand Accuracy International AE in 7.62. The previous owner had managed to scratch and gouge and batter the stock about a bit. So after a good cleaning I got Fergal white of Ireland custom rifle to see if he could sort some thing with the stock and have a look at the barrel. The barrel inside looked good but the crown had been bumped about so Fergal re crowned it for me. As for the stock he suggested getting it dipped and showed me a number of finishes, I selected one and left him to it, after about a week this is what I got back: As for the crown it tightened groups and made it more consistent. 200 meter group, sub 1", with military surplus R1M1 south African ball ammo.(very cheap stuff) So basically I'm a happy bunny and a big thanks to Figgy.
