Sig Sauer 522 Trigger pull

Have just completed one the last mods on my Sig 522!

The 2 stage trigger pull on an out of the box 522 goes on for a fair bit, is difficult to tell when the break comes in with the 2nd stage (and is reasonably heavy at about 7lbs).

I've tried the AR Hammer spring Mod (link below) but the spring just wasnt man enough for the job, so instead I used some high tensile steel wire, and bobs your uncle, a very nice 2 stage trigger with a pull of about 3 lbs!

 

Once installed, it needed a bit of adjustment on the leg of the spring, but after 5 mins I found the correct tension for the 2 stage trigger.

 

Well worth doing!
