Need help with COL.

Hello All,

New to re-loading with a question.

If my case length varies and I seat the bullet to achieve a OAL of 2.800 will there be different measurements between one loaded case and another ?

Example two cases sized and within SAMMI spec.

One case is 2.007 and the other is 2.009 will this give an OAL difference of 0.002 or will the bullet seat deeper ?

I hope I've explained it clearly.

I've got the Lee Cutter but the cases are shorter, the Lee doesn't trim them.

I've also got one of the Hornady gauges so I'll get onto it tomorrow.

If you've got the Hornady comparator thingy, you're cooking with gas mate. It's the most important thing in my reloading room bar none.
