Sako M591 ...options....

hi folks

 

i have a cracking Sako M591 left hander in .22-250 that i bought off a gentleman on this sight bout 18 months -2 yrs ago....(sorry canna mind who you are :blush: )

 

i love it to bits but since i took dleivery last year of my custom rifle ive been totally spoilt with the jewel trigger on it....

so......

 

im now thinking bout starting to upgrade the sako a wee bit

 

i know nowt about them at all or options available for upgrades

 

so what triggers are available for a lefty sako m591?

 

and would i be able to get an aftermarket stock also???

Hi Mate

I have just bought one myself and looking for a stock. Robertsons in Canada do stocks that will suit but you would have to get it inletted over here as they don't inlet for that action. I will keep you posted if anything else crops up

Right, very few aftermarket triggers available for these rifles and none worth the trouble. The standard triggers are as good as many aftermarket ones once they have been worked on.

Stocks are available from Mcmillan in this inlet and can be had left hand. Sako Varmint or Sako 75 Varmint would be the ideal choice.
